I started making my own granola in 2012 as I wanted a nutritious breakfast that would keep me fuller for longer. When I shared it with family and friends, I got lots of positive feedback and, even better, requests for more. So in 2016, Penola was born.

I bake Penola in small batches at my home on Ardoch Road in Catford, SE6. I love getting creative in the kitchen so am always experimenting with new tastes and blends. You can keep up to date with the latest blends on Twitter and Instagram.

Why not share your serving suggestions with me using #PenolaFoodIdeas

All ingredients are sourced from a Fair Trade Co-operative and I stock with independent businesses and sell direct through the post. I want everyone to be able to enjoy Penola and keep the price of Penola as low as I can – I want to keep it affordable so everyone can enjoy a good breakfast.

Penola was first stocked by the wonderfully supportive Good Food Catford. I love that there are independent businesses that are ready and willing to support small food producers like me. Click if you want to know who stocks Penola, or contact us to become a Penola stockist.

About me

I’m a busy mum with a full-time career, supporting young people and their families. I love breakfast – I can’t survive without breakfast. I created Penola because I needed a tasty, natural start to my day. Plus the energy to keep going.

I’ve been working with people to promote healthy eating for a long time. Both in my role with Lewisham-based social enterprise Delicious most Nutritious, and as a weight-loss coach. I’m also a published food writer.

I care about what I eat. So I love being able to share Penola with people who want a healthy, nutritious and tasty breakfast.

Look forward to hearing from you
